Social Networking Safety tips

Hey there guys... Sorry for the late updates... I occupied with my studies cos' this year I'll be sitting PMR...

Well then, lets get on our topic... Last Wednesday, I went to a seminar in KL called Internet Safety Awareness Seminar, held at KLCC Convention Centre. There were so many schools from Shah Alam, Klang Valley and of course Hulu Langat... The seminar was from 10 o'clock until 5.30 with a few breaks...

In this post, I would like to share some of my experience that I learned from the seminar... Its about Social Networking Safety....

Social Networking is a public social website that introduced by people in the cybernettic world. Friendster, Blogger, Myspace, Facebook and Twitter are examples of Social Networking that very popular among the people nowadays...

Now about the safety... Have heard the story of Megan Meier??? You don't know her??? FYI, she's a victim of cyberbullying in one of the popular Social Networking Sites, Myspace... She was cheated by a 'friend' that she met in Myspace named Josh... They known each other for about two weeks... Then, Josh started to saying bad things towards Megan until she decided to make suicide... Two weeks after her death, the authorities know that Josh is not really EXIST... He was made by one of the neigbour in Megan's resident... She created Josh just to teach her not to make fun her daughter who is the same age of Megan...
