Vocaloid is an animated singer using only synchronized sound. Meaning by most of the voice of the Vocaloid is MUSIC. but still they need sampled voice to make it realistic.
This Vocaloid is named Miku Hatsune. She's sweet 16 y/o n has a green n long pigtailed hair.
She donned the voice of Saki Fujita, a Japanese voice actress.
She was the first Vocaloid ever created by Yamaha Music Industry in Japan. The Meaning of her name is quite cool.
Hatsu = First
Ne = Voice
Miku = Future
Therefore, Miku Hatsune/Hatsune Miku = First Voice of the Future. She might be our futuristic singer in the future maybe. Now, many of singers has donned a Vocaloid, using their sampled voice to make a new kind of music.
Other than Miku, there are several others Vocaloid. All of them came from two version. First version Vocaloid is English while the Second version is Japanese.
